Ordered from there once before, the food wasn't anything special but I was willing to give them another chance today... I figured some decent chinese food would go perfectly with the hockey I've been watching all day. Their minimum delivery is $12(with no delivery fee which is nice), and my total was $11.97 and they refused to make an exception for three lousy pennies. Never again will I even consider ordering from this place, I'll gladly pay a delivery fee to someone who would be understanding and give me the credit of three cents instead of trying to get me to order another app/soda/dish just to get back over the delivery minimum... Nice try Hong Kong Express, nice try.

We had seen a menu in our hotels lobby and the food pics looked great. This place is located on the corner of Sunset and Highland in Hollywood area lower level of a strip mall walking distance from Hollywood Blvd. We walked in and the place appeared clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food is served family style or you can order combination platters. Beverages are either from a fridge or they have some selections behind the counter. We ordered Mongolian beef, Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice. The food looked, smelled and tasted very good. It was alot of food if you order family style for about 3-4 people. We had a to go box for late munchies. The food was alittle expensive but worth it. When in the area i will make a stop.

Found the food clean, seasoned nicely and workers friendly.Stopped in here for dinner while staying at the Days Inn a block away.My 3 star rating is more like a 3+, for it's location too.

This place is located conveniently close to a high school which is great because this type of food is probably a high schooler's delight. They might even truck a few trays across the street for Chinese Food Thursday in the cafeteria. Most of the meat seems to be dark (and I appreciate the white meat). There is buffet style and if you're not careful, you'll be eating food that's been under a lamp for hours. They do have a full menu you have to ask for that's made "fresh," but spend an extra buck and have a "classy" fast meal at Panda Express. You'll thank yourself later.
